Murder Mystery Wine Event

Posted by on September 29, 2010 with 0 Comments

We raised $778!

On Saturday, September 25th, My Neighbors Foundation along with Whodunnit for Hire hosted “Murder on the Vine” at Woodhall Wine Cellars in Parkton, MD.  This unique acting troupe performed a musical comedy “who-dun-it” show during a wine tasting at the cellar.  Members of the audience were asked to participate in searching for clues and interrogating suspects to solve the crime.  A great time was had by all while enjoying Woodhall wines and light fare and desserts provided by Patricia Della catering.  MNF board member, Paulette Campanella, coordinated the event which raised $778.  Thank you Paulette for a job well done!

The event was so much fun, that MNF may host another one in the near future.

Details to follow.

A Night With Elvis Fundraiser

Posted by on April 30, 2010 with 0 Comments

Our 2 Elvis events in 2009 raised over $2,500 for MNF!

Jim Parsley as Elvis Presley

Event held in April 2009, June 2009 and April 2010

Elvis was sighted in Hereford not once but twice this past spring. As it turns out, Elvis fans couldn’t get enough of this Teddy Bear. Our first night with Elvis back on April 4th was so successful that we booked a second show for June. It wasn’t quite Blue Hawaii, but the Summit Manor was a perfect venue for the King. Lots of Memories and Love Letters will be written to bring this hip shaking rock star back to the Zone. Will will announce our date for 2011 soon.
